Solar Energy Equipment
Solar energy reaches the ground surface in the form of radiant energy. In some areas, the radiation reaches values up to 500 Watts per square meter of surface at certain times of the day and time of the year. In general, it is usual to obtain a power of around 50 Watts per square meter.
Solar pumps
Solar pumps use photo voltaic panels to produce electricity, which is then used to drive small electric pumps (12 V DC or 220 V AC). Due to the high cost of the panels (approximately US $ 500 per 100 W installed), these machines are not yet widespread (1).
